About the Department

The Eco Club Programme was started in 2001. It's a program that aims to sensitize school children about the environment, its problems, and conservation. The program is operational across the country through school eco-clubs. Over 1 lakh schools are involved in the program.

Eco clubs are clubs that promote environmental awareness and activities. They can include activities like:

Tree plantation
Awareness regarding water conservation
Organizing rallies and sensitization of staff and students about environment
Conduct cleanliness drives
Promoting the use of renewable energy

PLANTATION DRIVE

Plantation drive was organised on 14^th august 2024 in the college campus

A LECTURE ON MEDICINAL PLANT

On dated 14^th august 2024 Dr. Ramkrishan incharge of herbal garden jangal jhalera provides a detailed information on importance and plantation of medicinal plants

POSTER MAKING COMPETITION

A poster making competition was organised on 6^th Dec. 2024 on energy and water conservation

DEVELOPMENT OF COLLEGE ORCHARD

A cleanliness drive was organised on 8^th feb.2025 in college campus(near Principal’s residence)for developing a college orchardof fruiting plants.

VISIT TO ECOLOGICAL PARK

A visit of the students to Mohan Makin heritage park was organised on dated 25^th Feb. 2025

WORKSHOP ON SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE

One day workshop was organised in college under the aegis of “ECO CLUB” on sustainable sgriculture on dated 17^th may 2025and Sh. Hariman sharma Padam shri awardee was the chief guest who interacted with our students on his experiences on agriculture and horticulture.

Eco clubs aim to educate and inspire sustainable habits and practices.

MISSION

The mission of our Ecological Club is to inspire and educate our college community about environmental sustainability and conservation. Through meaningful projects, awareness campaigns, and hands-on initiatives, we strive to empower individuals to take action, reduce our ecological footprint, and foster a greener and more sustainable future for all.
